# R6 Exodus

## Exodus External Setup Guide

Welcome to the official Exodus setup guide.

Please read everything carefully before starting. Most launch issues happen because a requirement is missed, Windows is not supported, or the loader is not being run correctly.

***

### Product Types

We provide two main product types.

***

### HV Products

HV products use a virtualization-based setup.

#### HV Requirements

* AES instruction support on your CPU
* Intel or AMD CPU
* Virtualization enabled in BIOS
  * Intel: VT-x
  * AMD: AMD-V / SVM
* Supported Windows version
* Stable internet connection
* Administrator Windows account

***

### External Products

External products use an overlay-based setup.

External products are lightweight and have a similar feature set to HV products.

#### External Requirements

* AES instruction support on your CPU
* Intel or AMD CPU
* Supported Windows version
* SteelSeries GG / Sonar overlay for supported External products
* Stable internet connection
* Administrator Windows account

***

## Requirements & Compatibility

Please make sure your system meets the requirements below.

### Supported Operating Systems

* Windows 10 version 1903 or newer
* Windows 11 supported stable builds
* Windows 11 25H2 supported

### Not Officially Supported

* Windows Insider builds
* Custom Windows builds
* Debloated Windows versions
* Modified Windows ISO installations
* Newly released Windows versions immediately after launch

> New Windows 11 updates can introduce extra security changes. Support may take time after major Windows updates.

***

## CPU Requirements

Your CPU must support AES instructions.

Most modern Intel and AMD CPUs support AES, but some old or low-end CPUs may not.

If you receive an AES error, check your CPU model and BIOS settings.

***

## BIOS Requirements

For HV products, virtualization must be enabled in BIOS.

### Intel CPUs

Enable:

```
Intel VT-x
```

### AMD CPUs

Enable:

```
AMD-V / SVM Mode
```

BIOS menus are different depending on your motherboard. Look under:

* Advanced Settings
* CPU Configuration
* Security Settings
* Overclocking / CPU Features
* AMD CBS
* Intel Virtualization Technology

***

## Overlay Requirement

Some External products require SteelSeries GG with Sonar overlay enabled.

Download SteelSeries GG here:

[Download SteelSeries GG](https://steelseries.com/gg)

***

### SteelSeries Sonar Setup

1. Install **SteelSeries GG**.
2. Open **SteelSeries GG** as Administrator.
3. Go to **Settings**.

   * Moments notifications
   * Engine notifications
   * Non-Sonar notifications

> Only the Sonar overlay is required for supported External products.

***

# Agent Instructions
This documentation is published with GitBook. GitBook is the documentation platform designed so that both humans and AI agents can read, navigate, and reason over technical content effectively. Learn more at gitbook.com.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://gandyhacks.gitbook.io/gandyhacks-docs/rainbow-six-siege/r6-exodus.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
